Marathon Volleyball

One of the joys I have all year is going to the games of my kids. Last weekend we had a home game on Saturday that was suppose to start at noon. Let's just say the bus driver had a map to our gym but refused to use it. As a result...the teams arrive at least an hour or so late.

Not a big deal...they warmed up...we played their girls. The great thing of the day...the crowd. We had a lot of parents attend this game--a rarity here in Korea.

This was the crowd for the girls game. The girls won. We play rally (best 3 out of 5) and our girls played well and won in three matches.

And this is the crowd 4 hours later as the boys are evenly matched against Indianhead and they fight it out. The boys finaly won after playing a complete 5 matches. We won one. Lost the next two. Then won the last two. It was some good playing...but as you can see...the loyal were few. We were literally at the gym for five hours. I have the Hospitality House on Saturday's at 5:30. I went straight to the House from the game and got there at 5:15.

This is me. I was laying down by the end and using my backpack as a pillow.
It was a long day of games--but I would not miss it for anything!

Thanks for the memories. Your days in cheerleading sometimes seem so far away but at the same time just yesterday.
