This past Monday we had parent/teacher conference from noon until about 7:30 p.m. Have left for school at 6:30 that morning that and not returning until about 8:30 p.m. is a long day. My roommate and I were looking forward to sinking into the couch and recovering from our day.

That was our plan...but is not what happened. We returned home to an appartment that had been broken in to. The saying is true...one man's junk is another man's treasure. Though all of stuff had been gone through...literally every drawn in our appartment had been rummaged through, nothing was taken. The police's explanation was that we had nothing valuable.

Praise the Lord absolutely nothing is missing from our appartment. Though the police said they were professionals based on the way the completely removed the lock from our door, I still don't think the explanation that we have nothing valuale explains why the theif did not take the hundred and some odd dollars from Pam's room or the nearly one thousand dollars that I had in a clear file on my bed. I completely believe that God had to have sheilded this from their eyes. They had moved the clear file on my bed where you could obviously tell there was money inside (I had just collected over a hundred dollars from each of my eight cheerleaders, plus I had all the money we had collected from our Cheer Camp fundraiser). Professional or not...they passed by about $1200 of cash that they could have easily slipped into their pockets.

So this post is just to PRAISE the LORD for His protection. He kept us safe and guarded our money.

Praise the Lord. He deserves an applause!!
I think it is awesome how He watches what may seem insignificant to others. He has watched over and protected us so many times. That I am so thankful for.
Mommie
that's crazy. I'm glad that your break-in is a good testimony. i get a little freaked out about that kind of thing, being a lady and all. but this is definitely comforting.
