Today was Nicole's Birthday....HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Here is me and the birthday girl!
To celebrate we went out and ate Kalbi (AKA Korean barbeque).
It's hard to describe the Korean restaurant eating experence...but below are a few pictures...none of them great!

Basically there are tons of sides involved in eating Korean.

Kara is taking her job of making sure the Kalbi (pork) is cooking very seriously!

Basically, you wrap the meat, rice, and whatever sides you like in a leaf and stuff it in your mouth!

Sometimes I am more sucessful than others--I promise...this was perhaps my least "ladylike" bite the entire evening.
And that is the Korean Kalbi dining expereince in a nutshell!

um...we did that at Debbie's house a couple of weeks ago! We wrapped all sorts of vegetable with some yummy sauces. It made for a delicious dinner and HEALTHY. It also left me pretty hungry. :)
The only times I am left hungry is when we are at the places that do not give you a lot of meat...but I walked away from last night meals full.
It was very good!
Purple is a very pretty color for you.
