Europe...Here we come!

Summer 2008--Kara, Jamie, and I (and possibly Kara's sister, Lindsay) are going to explore Europe! I am excited about this trip. We know nothing other than we are going and it will be toward the first part of summer.

Though it is still a little far away, now is your opportunity. If you have any suggestions as to good places to visit in Europe...let me know. Hit the comment button and share your ideas.

For example, someone has already suggested I fly to China and then get on the train that will take me from China to Europe. Now how awesome would that be? That is something I might not have even thought to look into if it hadn't been suggested!

I NEED your ideas...normally the best places to visit are those suggested by others.

Hey, I would love for any of the family to meet me in Europe. Mommie and Daddy are out. I guess I forgot to check with you. If you want to join us...that would be awesome! I did pitch the idea to the family first...I just did not get much positive feedback--so I assumed it was a no go.

Amber, In my opinion Italy is a bit expensive and very touristy. Of course, it depends where you go but in the summer it's packed. Anyway, I recommend you stick to eastern europe for it's afforadability and pace. Poland is awesome (Krakow & Warsaw) and of course I'm a big fan of Romania. Western Europe is expensive and the places I recommend there are Antwerp, Amsterdam, The Hague, and Hannover. It depends on you...for me, I prefer non-touristity areas and am not really interested in seeing over sensationalized architecture/art simply to say that I saw it. Up to you though!
