Therapy

This past Saturday I got to do one of my favorite forms of "therapy"--painting. There was a work day at the Chapel on base to paint signs for VBS. Though we were just painting simple signs on styrafoam it felt good to get to use my painting skills and practice a little creativity. It was very basic stuff...but just great to be using a paintbrush again.

I used to love to paint as a way to chew the cud and just process life. Since, I have not painted in awhile...I guess I have other "therapy" activities.

Let's see...what are they?
Cooking when I am home alone
Running when I am in the habit
Playing Minesweeper--though I don't do this often anymore

I think for the past year or so...it has been cooking or shall I say chopping. Normally, on Sunday or Monday I will spend a few hours in the kitchen chopping my fruits and vegetables for the week so that I can just grab them and go.

Anyhow, one day I will take up art lessons once again and be a very happy lady...until then...there will always be vegetables to chop!
